MMThe
SANCOME Storage Appliance NAS family provides fully managed, RAID
protected, network storage in an economical package designed for reliability.
The NAS family supports 8 to 24 hot swap SATA RAID bays in a 4 rack
unit form factor, and even more, redundant power supplies and hot
swap blowers and fans, the SANCOME Storage Appliance NAS provides
redundancy for the critical components with the highest failure rates.
Running SPANStor, the NAS family of network storage appliances can
be managed from a Web Browser enabled workstation over HTTP or HTTPS
w/SSL for security. Also supported are SSH, and SFTP secure interfaces
as well as telnet and other non-secure interfaces. Supporting concurrent
CIFS and NFS, SPANStor is the best choice for companies running Windows,
Unix, and Linux. Active Directory integration and ACL support comes
standard in SPANStor, as well as an advanced Journaling File System
that supports over 500 snapshots. The Storage Appliance NAS family
is capable of managing up to 9.6 Terabytes of storage in a single
rackmount appliance. SPANStor Software is preloaded and ready for
you to configure. Configuration is made easy with intuitive menu driven
GUI. MMThe Storage Appliance
NAS features innovative multi-lane SATA connection technology to eliminate
the typical cable issues found in most SATA systems. Using a positive
locking Infini-band cabling system eliminates drive disconnection
issues common in other vendors products. (48 drive unit cabling shown
